We have had this car seat for three years. It is incredibly sturdy and well manufactured by reputable Britax. We have always felt that safety was #1 whenever our grandchild was strapped in. You can adapt the seat as the child grows and covers weights up to 65lbs. The seat was manufactured on April 21, 2016 and is valid until that date in 2026. Serial ##1A346L000433. We contacted the manufacturer and the Marathon model is valid for 10 years.
