Operations General Labourer

Position: Operations General Labourer Port Edward Harbour Authority This position is 40 hours per week, and this can include weekends. Wages starting $23.00/hr experience and tickets will increase the rate. The Operations General Labour position is primarily an outdoor maintenance role with a public facing aspect, requiring efficiency, courtesy and professionalism in customer and public interactions. Adaptability, good judgement, accountability, and time management skills are essential. This role demands organization, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Maintain a safe, clean, and functional facility using a variety of hand and power tools, occasionally operating forklifts, skiff and other heavy equipment. Conduct daily dock walks, accurately recording vessel and power usage. Proactively addressing repair and maintenance issues, and documenting activities Field Customer inquiries while performing tasks and identify/resolve safety issues. Assist in tying or fending vessels as needed.
