Volunteers Needed for Lights of Wonder

Starlight Lights of Wonder is Downtown Victoria's premiere holiday light display organized by the Downtown Victoria Business Association (DVBA) and presented by Starlight Investments. Lights of Wonder will take place outdoors in Centennial Square in the late afternoon/evenings beginning December 15 through to December 31, 2022. To make this event a success, the DVBA is looking for volunteers! As a Lights of Wonder Volunteer you may be asked to: – Greet visitors and provide them with information about the event – Use a clicker to help us track the number of visitors – Help with set up and close down of the event (info booth, help with signage, etc.) – Maintain cleanliness of the event site – Receive and keep count of donations received at our "Giving Booth" – Promptly communicate with event staff 𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴: – A positive and friendly attitude – 16+ years old Volunteer shifts will be 4 hours maximum and take place outdoors.
