The lid is made so that one edge extends a small amount so that once it’s on and turned half way it sits so that it won’t fall out easily. The handle is made so that the thumb rests easily on the top. It comes with a very attractive unique wrap style tea cozy that leaves the spout and handle exposed for easy use. The cozy fastens at the top with Velcro and the little flap covers it.
