This unique saddle was hand made by Leonard Nichols in 1942. He was a premier saddle maker and worked for Hamley & Co Saddle makers in Pendleton Oregon for nearly 50 years. It was sold on June 12 1942 to a lady and eventually made its way to Canada where it was purchased by a now retired RCMP officer in about 1980. It is in pristine condition. It is extremely comfortable to ride. A sturdy set of leather saddlebags is included. If you know your saddles, you will know this one.
