I’m selling a vintage C.F. Martin & Co. Style 0 soprano ukulele, made in Nazareth, Pennsylvania between 1947 and 1955. This is one of Martin’s most sought-after eras, known for extremely light construction, warm balanced tone, and classic craftsmanship. Features • All-mahogany body (top, back, sides) • Original 1940s/50s ivoroid friction tuners (rare to find intact) • Original finish • “Made in U.S.A.” headstock stamp (correct for late 40s–50s Martins) • T-style frets (post-1935 production) • Exceptionally resonant, clear vintage soprano tone • A crack on the bout, doesn’t affect playability Condition Very good for a 70+ year old instrument. Some honest cosmetic wear but nothing that affects playability or stability. The uke has been well cared for and stored properly. It plays cleanly up the neck and has that unmistakable vintage Martin voice. Tone Warm, sweet, and lively.
