Home Care Employment Opportunity Helping Hands Personal Support Services is currently looking for interested part-time to full-time support service companions in the Greater Victoria and Peninsula area. The position is non-medical and relies on companions who have ideally looked after a home and are familiar with activities of daily living. Along with companionship, duties may include cooking, shopping, transportation, light housekeeping, personal care and social outgoings. Applications should be multi-skilled and possess strong inter-personal skills. Companions require their own vehicle, cell phone and email access. The Food Safe Course, Emergency First Aid with CPR and an RCMP background check is arranged. Shifts vary with client needs and flexibility as some weekend shifts are possible.
