Tea Workshop: Herbal Tea Blending 101

Looking for something fun to do with Mom? Make tea together! Join Bree, founder and tea artist at Island Elixir Tea Company, as she walks you through the process of creating herbal teas from herbs you can grow in your own garden. Get an introduction to how to build and balance flavour in tea, tasting tips and a brief introduction to the traditional medicinal properties of the herbs. (Recommended age for daughters & sons: 10+) Each participant will make enough tea to take some home for later. Location: Caleb Pike House. 1589 Millstream Rd., Highlands, B.C. The park will be open and the setting beautiful for a before or after workshop picnic. Enjoy some quality time in a beautiful setting.
