POSITION OPEN FOR BARN HELP in Exchange for Lessons and riding. BOARD AVAILABLE one spot open for Oct 1st or early move in on Sunday Sept 28th at no cost until Oct 1st ALWAYS WANTED TO BE AROUND, WORK WITH AND RIDE HORSES? TEXAS ROSE TRAINING, a small lesson and boarding barn, has a position open for barn chores in exchange for all of the above! As I am searching for the next person to join my barn as Barn Help, I would like to thank all those, past and present, for their dedication and hard work. I am grateful to have you, or to have had you as part of our barn family. Sadly, for me, everyone must eventually move on. Life changes takes us all forward, and many have gone on to start their own life and adventures with horses. Join our barn family and embark on an exciting journey with horses! Whether you're an experienced equestrian or just starting out, this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with horses, learn new skills, and be part of a supportive community. Your dedication and hard work will be greatly appreciated, and you'll have the chance to create lasting memories and friendships. Approximately 2 hours per morning, 2 days per week in exchange for a weekly lesson. Days open at this time are Wednesdays and Thursdays mornings. Barn members are encouraged to “hang out” at the barn and gain further experience with handling, grooming, ground work and extra riding outside of the weekly lesson time. The work includes morning feed, stall & paddock cleaning, water bins and sweeping. No experience is necessary but must be able to work on your own after initial training, have own transportation, be reliable and responsible, and don't mind getting dirty! Please, no children.
