$45 · Experienced Math and Science tutor

Hi there! I am an experienced teacher in math and sciences, with availability to take on new students for tutoring for the 2023/2024 school year. I have a degree in molecular biology and biochemistry, and have many years of both teaching and tutoring experience. I offer flexible times and days for online sessions. I tutor in the following subjects: ➔ Elementary school science and math. ➔ Science grades 6-10. ➔ Physics 11 and 12. ➔ Chemistry 11 and 12. ➔ Math grades 6-12, including pre calculus of mathematics 10, 11, and 12. ➔ AP and IB Chemistry and Biology. ➔ University level Chemistry and Biology. I am well versed in the BC Curriculum and in preparing students for the provincial exams. I'm passionate about teaching these subjects, and I want to help students find success through mastering the content and strengthening their study skills. I have experience in tutoring one on one and with groups of students from elementary school age through to first year university. I have experience working with youth and children with learning and behavioral challenges, including ADD, ADHD, and Autism. I'm available during daytime's, evenings, and weekends for online sessions. My rate is $50/hour, or receive a discount with a package of 5 sessions for $225 - $45/hour. Sessions via Zoom. Group rates can be discussed as needed.
