$2 · Township Jive/Soweto/Highlife fun?

Hi There, I've been digging a lot of 70s/80s Soweto Jive/Highlife/ Afro pop lately. Would anyone be interested in playing this kind of music? I play Guitar and Bass. I'm not from Africa. Maybe you are? Perhaps some guitar, drums, sax, accordion, vocals? Is anyone around here already doing this? Let me know if this is worth trying. Thanks.
