Pickup is in Saanich, close to the Monkey Tree Pub and ICBC off McKenzie Ave. In 1979, a radio series of The Hobbit was adapted and directed by Bob Lewis and produced by The Mind's Eye. The music featured in the radio drama was pulled from production music produced by Major Records. Primarily featuring composer Roger Roger, but also containing works from George Chase and Sam Trust. They would use the same music library for their adaptation of The Lord of the Rings, some pieces being shared between the two. In 1992, the radio adaptation was made available in a unique 6 audio cassette tape set and encased in a handsome wooden box. This set brings the epic fantasy to life with immersive audio storytelling. Ideal for fans of the franchise and those new to the saga, this set promises to be a cherished addition to any collection.
