FREE: matching pair of marine 283 motors

I've got a pair of matching 8 cylinder 283 marine engines (rated at 185hp) recently removed from a scrapped boat. They are old, not sure if original from a 1960's chris craft or not, and they sat abandoned in a water filled hold for some time. Also have the extra transmission and valve covers for the one. Does not include any carburetors or heat exchangers. So in all reality they are good for scrap only ($$ at the metal recyclers) ... unless someone really wants a project or a bunch of parts. They are laying on the ground and you can get a truck or trailer right up to them. Oil is already removed. You'll need some form of crane / hoist, or some winch to drag them onto a vehicle.
