$70 · 100% Down Filled Duvet, Double/Full Size (Queen?) PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION!

It is white. Cotton Casing, nicely finished edges. It was was very clean as it has always been in a cover, but I’ve just freshly laundered it in “green” soap and dried it in the dryer. It measures 82” X 82” and weighs 4.5 lbs. it would be a “medium” winter weight, it doesn’t have the label anymore (price reflects). You can tell it’s down by the feel and by the fact that it squishes down into a fairly small 15” high carry bag! (See photo). Baffle box construction. No stains or damage or smells. No pet no smoke adult home. . Note that every manufacturer determines their own dimensions for size for each of a “double, queen or king” size designation for a duvet and they can vary up to about 7 inches in either direction within that designation of double queen or king . There is no “standard measurement”, they all differ. The only measurement that’s always consistently the same is the size of the mattress! Duvet covers also vary up to 7” within a “double, queen or king” size. Each manufacturer decides on the exact measurement within the size they label it as and they vary widely! You rarely will find a duvet and a cover the exact same size. A double bed mattress is 56” wide so this duvet would hang down 13” on either side. And perhaps more or less depending on the cover size, same thing if on a queen bed. A queen mattress is 60” wide so if you used it on a queen bed it would hang down 11” on either side. Not far but ok for some people or certainly for just one person in the bed. Note the photos show it on a queen size bed.
