Here is a beautiful and practical vintage celadon storage jar. The stunning celadon glaze reminds us of the importance of jade in the Chinese culture. The embossed artwork speaks to the importance of natural symbols to the Chinese people. And the Longquan stamp on the underside assures the quality of the piece. The jar measures 6" X 6" x 8" high. It is a heavy piece weighing 1.3 kg. Vintage Celadon pieces are hard to find, and the pale green Celadon colour is hard to duplicate. The Chinese are masters of this glazed pottery medium.
