$1,400 · Wanted Bachelor or 1 Bedroom Suite **Cat Friendly

Hello all! My landlord has sold my home, and I'm in the unfortunate circumstance where I need to find a new place to live effective October 1st. Given the current rental market out there, I thought it prudent to put some feelers out early! I would be looking for a long-term rental, and would love a bachelor or 1-bedroom suite with no carpet, as I do have a cat (see below for more information). I would love to live in a rural area (I currently live in rural Saanich), but am open to all available options. My maximum budget would be $1400, but I understand that this may be tricky in the current rental environment, so would be flexible to options. Moving with me would be my 2.5 year old neutered cat, Otter (photos attached). He's a big boy (15 pounds!), but is very friendly with people, up-to-date with his vaccinations, and loves to get into some harmless mischief (think sitting in my fridge or locking himself in the bathroom!). He has a big personality and love a home with big windows for bird-watching, and would be over the moon if there were a garden or some green space where he could wander around (on a harness of course!). About me: I am employed full-time at UVic and have been living in my current home since August 2019. I am a thoughtful, kind, and reliable tenant, and I would treat your suite as though it were my own home. I am introverted, so live a very quiet lifestyle, and don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. Although I do enjoy the occasional cider or wine. I have a very positive relationship with my current landlord, and can provide references upon request. Thank you in advance! Meaghan
