$300 · Antique head boards and foot boards

This furniture set was made in Canada in 1926 and came with two twin size headboards and footboards. We refinished the headboards to use behind a queen size bed but the footboards were never refinished. Perhaps someone creative with carpentry could make something out of the footboards. We believe these were made from solid walnut and cherry but are unsure.
