139 YEAR OLD HAND MADE TOOLBOX. Made in Sorel, Quebec. Toolbox has lift-out tray. 2 heavy iron handles and hinges. Could be used for storage and endless variety of items (CD's, DVD movies). The interior could be lined with felt and used for your silverware. Finish is original patina. Size: 25 1/4" W x 12 1/2" D x 9 1/2" H The plaque & note dates from 1958. The note reads: "Dear Billy, This tool box was made by your Great Grandfather in the year 1887. He lived in Sorel at the time when I was born in 1885. He gave it to me when I was married.
