This hippie – chic house is located in the border between funky Fernwood and awesome Oakland. There is street parking available but the number 22 bus stops right out front and the walk score is a high 84. The last 10 years has made this home too many Airbnb and full boarding homestays, but it’s time to retire and enjoy independent roommates instead. My son and I are both in the hospitality business so we are very chill and easy to get along with. He is 20 and lives in the Studio suite, while my dog and I have arranged the front rooms/yard for our living quarters. There is a common lounge room for tenants and the fenced backyard has a clothesline, an apple tree and two patio table areas. The garden is perennial, so there are gardening opportunities if you wish. We will all be sharing the kitchen and laundry +2 bathrooms. So please come with a cooperative attitude and a commitment to clean up after yourself. Smoking is not allowed in the house and normal tenancy expectations apply with regards to relative quiet between 11 PM and 8 AM.
