Sales Specialist

We currently have an opening for an energetic, friendly and ambitious Fitness Sales Associate to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia!!! The successful candidate will be compensated with a base wage plus commissions, quality benefits package and opportunities for professional development within a supportive workplace environment. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide top quality products and services to our customers Maintain up-to-date product knowledge Work with customers to determine their interests and fitness needs Conduct professional, engaging sales presentations Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports Work safely and efficiently Assist with unloading/loading of products (when required) Provide help to service and delivery departments as needed Keep an up-to-date basic knowledge of inventory Assist service and delivery staff where required Opening and closing of the store Complete required paperwork according to company policies, procedures, and protocols Other duties may be required SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Recognize the importance of establishing relationships with customers and providing a great customer experience Familiarity with fitness equipment and a strong interest in fitness and healthy living Previous sales and retail experience Computer competency, proficient with word, excel & outlook Problem solving and trouble shooting skills Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills (verbal & written) Professional, team player with a positive “can do” attitude when working with others Exceptional work ethic, motivated and driven to obtain goals A willingness to learn new things and to help other team members Ability to lift between 50 - 80 lbs Must be reliable and available to work weekends Have a clean driver’s abstract and criminal record check Have a great sense of humor!!
