Our CPA office is located in downtown Victoria. We are looking for a full-time Staff Accountant with excellent communication and computer skills. We are a busy office and are looking for a self-motivated, confident individual who has at least 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience. Duties: • Personal tax preparation using CCH TaxPrep software • Communicate to CRA to acquire client information • Maintain client information in computer applications, store and organize client tax slips • Perform data-entry and bookkeeping duties using Caseware and Excel • Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations, posting payroll and sales entries • Assist in preparing GST and PST remittances and payments for clients Qualifications and Skill Requirements: • English, as well as Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking an asset • Completion of level 1 and 2 accounting courses or equivalent accounting experience and 1 to 2 years of work experience in an accounting/accounting-related position. • Detail-oriented, quick learner, and organized • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills and experience using SAGE 50, Quickbooks, and Caseware would be an asset Please email cover letter and resume to email@example.com and only those short-listed will be contacted.
