1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, automatic. Sold new at Wolfe Chevrolet Oldsmobile and with its second local BC owner from 1984-2022. Canadian market Z28 were the only ones to receive the 5.7 litre 350 engine, ROW cars were all 305 only. Fully loaded car with 3 pages of RPO codes. Some of these include electric door locks, electric windows, tinted glass, glass T tops, air conditioning, tilt steering, AM/FM radiator stereo tape player, lighting group, tungsten halogen headlamps, instrument panel gauges,N90 cast aluminum wheels, heavy duty cooling and 3:42 axle. The car wears most of its original paint and decals. There are some areas of peeling but the overall look of the car is good for an original unrestored car. There is evidence of re spray on the front bumper, hood and right fender. The car is rock solid with no rust anywhere. The headliner needs to be replaced, and there is a burn hole in the passenger seat that has been there since before 1984. No other evidence of smoking in the car and no weird smells inside. The car drives great and rolls on fresh BFG 225/70 15 tires and the wheels are freshly refinished by Nu Brite industries. Recent maintenance includes rebuilt carb, new plugs, cap, reproduction plug wires, valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets, thermostat and mufflers. Stock factory original exhaust system is in place and the original catalytic converter has been removed. The signal lights are hit and miss and will require some investigation to repair. The A/C was working as recently as summer but was weak and likely will need a recharge. It has not been converted to 134A. The cruise, windows, locks, and stereo all work as they should and the car is a comfortable, reliable cruiser.
