Description For sale is my 1987 Porsche 928S4. I am the 3rd owner of the car and I bought it off the previous owner (through our mechanic) who had owned the car over 20 years. The car had been very lightly driven for the previous 7 years and needed to be restored somewhat, and I took on that project. I bought the car in early 2019 and have used it as my primary driver for the last 18 months. The car runs very well, the body and paint are in good condition, as is the interior. Mechanically, the engine was removed and completely resealed (including new main and rod bearings) under 5,000kms ago, and in the last 3 years I installed new fuel dampers and pressure regulator, cleaned and flow tested the injectors, had the LH computer rebuilt, and just generally went through the entire car mechanically. It now runs and drive great, turns lots of heads, and is a lot of fun. Everything needed to make the car a sound daily driver has been sorted out. All exterior lights work as they should, the car overall is in good shape, and I Installed a very nice stereo using the stock speaker grilles for a completely stock look (except for the head unit, of course). Overall this is a very fun, very sexy car that is a blast to drive around every day, rain or shine. All of the heavy lifting on restoring it mechanically have been tackled, there are just a few things I haven’t gotten around to yet: - the interior lights don’t turn on when a door is opened - the cruise control doesn’t work - the temperature control unit needs to be rebuilt - if I end up keeping the car, there are a few things I’ll be replacing like some badges, and more modern shifter knob, etc. - the I take and valve covers could be detailed to dress up the engine compartment. I have a spare intake and valve covers to do this without having to the remove the ones on the car, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet I’m sure I’ve forgotten lots, so please reach out with any questions. And if you are serious, I’ll connect you with the mechanic that has maintained the car for the last 25 years and resealed the engine last year. Thanks very much for looking and please reach out with any questions
