This amazing vintage steel garden shed is still in fantastic shape, he has done years of good service but needs a new home now sadly (we upgraded to a larger shed and this amazing little guy has to go now). 8 feet wide by 6 feet long by approx 6 feet high. $100 or best offer. Why buy this shed? It has been strengthened, repaired, and refurbished. Most importantly, I added custom-made metal roof beams to left and right sides to beef up the roof support- see photo and video (note: by comparison, newer sheds come with a centre beam and two side beams to support the roof panels). I also added new brushed aluminum padlockable hasp handles; I replaced any metal screws or machine screws that were missing or not holding (plus nylon washers); and I straightened a few dents in the roof, reinforced the ribs, and caulked where necessary. Shed is light weight and with a little assistance can easily be loaded onto the back of a sufficiently wide truck. Some cool facts: this shed is more than 40 years old, and yet its still stronger than a brand new Arrow Shed I built a few months ago. These older sheds had heavier gauge metal and were well galvanized. This one has got a few dents and a bit of surface rust but overall it's probably got another 20-40 years of life and service left. If you're feeling so inclined you can sand down the rust spots and repaint it, or replace the panels- replacement 29 Ga Galv-alum panels are available at Lowes, Home Depot etc. This shed would be ideal on an acreage; for storing an outboard or atv; and/or modified into a chicken pen or growth chamber. The price for a new steel shed like this (such as Shelterlogic/ Arrow) starts at approx $400, and goes up from there. Why metal and not plastic? More durable and customizable. One more interesting "fact": a family member reported it to the municipality of Saanich, because this shed is currently sitting in the front yard, this is a bylaw infraction apparently lol. So here's your opportunity to have the bragging rights that you purchased an "i*legal" shed lol!
