OFFERING: unfurnished private room in shared basement suite, located in Bear Mountain. COUPLE FRIENDLY, SMALL PET FRIENDLY, AND LGBTQ+ SAFE. The room is available December 1st OR December 16th. No required move out date, the longer you stick around the better. 1ST MONTH: 1300$ rent + 70$ wifi + deposits (NOTE: rent + wifi is half amount listed if you move in the 16th.) DEPOSITS: 650$ security deposit and 250$ pet deposit if applicable. AFTER: 1300$ rent + 70$ wifi + 20% of houses shared electric bill. PET POLICY: small pets allowed with deposit, indoor only (leashed outdoor time okay). If your pet is free house roaming (cat, dog, etc), we require them to have their needed shots and be fixed. Note: we own a female cat, she is fixed and has her shots. SMOKING POLICY: smoking and vaping is to be done off property as children live in the upstairs unit, absolutely under no circumstances will you be allowed to smoke inside or outside ON PROPERTY. DRUGS/DRINKING: no hard drugs, again, children live on the property. YOUR ROOM: the room is 3.80m x 2.50m dimensions, with a window and medium closet. The window has blinds for privacy, as well as a screen to keep out critters. With the room you also get your own extra storage space that branches off the kitchen, it has an extra closet as well for winter clothes, etc. COMMON ROOMS: there is a living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom that are all shared with my spouse and I. Each room is very spacious and has space for your own things, the living room has AC and all of the other rooms have baseboard heating. There is also a very nice outdoor patio space, branching off of it is a key-locked storage room if you have furniture or other large items to store away. The suite has updated appliances, including a dishwasher and a laundry washer/dryer set. There is also street parking in front of the house, for anyone who has a car. --- ABOUT US: we are a queer married couple, in our 20s-30s, artists, and usually keep to ourselves.
