Hello, we are in search of a new roommate for the master bedroom in our 3 bedroom + den home available March 1st! The room is: - large - approx. 140 sq.ft. (11'x 12.7') - south-facing - two large closets - an ensuite private bathroom with tub and shower - hardwood flooring - south-facing - wall heater and thermostat The room is quite private, located in the back of the home, facing the backyard. Beautiful hardwood flooring throughout the house, and each room has a wall heater w/thermostat and the main house is a heat pump/air. The kitchen is huge and modern, laundry and yard are also shared spaces. The back yard is enclosed and there is gardening space, a covered gazebo and we have a few kayaks that I'm always willing to lend out to a roommate! My son (14) and I are outdoorsy, active and busy! I'm a full-time working professional in land conservation field for over 20 years. My son is into biking, climbing and parkour. We have a loving golden retriever and calico cat. You will enjoy living with us if you like animals and kids! - single occupancy only (not negotiable) - absolutely no smoking, vaping of any kind in or outside. - a dog may be considered, but would depend on complete compatibility. - all utilities are included, except wifi - $50/mo - includes parking spot in front of house, or the driveway is a possibility if preferred House is right of Route 6 bus, and close to MacKenzie. Commute to Victoria (20 minute bike or bus). Walking distance to Swan Lake, the Lochside and Goose trail, and Playfair Park.
