Furnished Rooms for Rent in House – Camosun College / UVIC Students

24-year old male student attending Camosun College (Kinesiology) in the fall is looking for 1-2 other students interested in renting a room and enjoying the freedom and amenities of a large house and gardens for the upcoming school term. The house has 5 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, 1.5 bathrooms, a workshop, with lots of extra storage space inside and a large spacious yard with a patio and a greenhouse outside. There is a long driveway which could accommodate several cars and parking is available on the road. There is also a secured covered shed in the back for bicycles, hockey equipment, and larger items. The house is semi-furnished, and includes a bed, dresser, and desk if required as well as linen, blankets, dishes, pots and pans and other household items. The smaller bedroom is $975 and the larger bedroom is $1025 per month plus each person will need to contribute to a share of utilities (WiFi, water, gas, hydro, garbage, cleaning, and Netflix/Prime movie access) which is about $50. The house is located in Fairfield and close to Thrifty’s Grocery Store, Ross Bay Beach, and Hollywood Park which has tennis courts and a baseball field and Beacon Hill Park. It is a 5 minute drive to downtown Victoria, an 8 minute drive to UVIC or Camosun College (Lansdowne) and 15 minutes to Camosun (Interurban). Transit to UVIC by bus takes about 15 minutes. The street is a bike lane so it is not too busy or noisy. The space is available from September 1st and possibly sooner, and Items can be stored in advance of move in.
