1990’s steel 17” frame Raleigh Discovery 18 speed. 5’3” - 5’5” rider. Set up for commuting with an aluminum riser handlebar and designed dual purpose (on road & off road) tires so it’s good for both the streets and the gravel sections of the goose. Fully serviced including new chain, replacement wheel set, replacement crankset and sealed bottom bracket, precision adjustment of headset, wheel hubs, spokes (wheel truing), brakes and derailleurs, thoroughly cleaned, well-running and ready for the road home. Aluminum wheels trued. Hubs adjusted so wheels spin smoothly. Bottom bracket replaced so cranks spin smoothly. Gear shifting works very smoothly through all eighteen gears. Brakes stop on a dime. Plenty of good tread on tires. Full fenders. Rear aluminum pannier rack. Aluminum water bottle holder. Kickstand. Cosmetically, it has eye-catching, metallic crimson red paint complimented by polished aluminum and high gloss black components & accessories.
