This was the classic Italian road racer, being smooth and fast. The frame is functionally solid but quite scratched up. I paid $400 last year to have it completely rebuilt by a local bike shop and basically never ridden it since then. Original Parts: -Frame made in Tokyo Japan by OJI using High Mn steel. Medium size: 56cm/22” (~5’6”-5’11” rider). -Distinctive Miele chrome forks . -Crankset by Sakae CX with two chainrings (52). -Brake levers by Dia-Compe. -I think the drop handlebars are original. New Parts: -Shimano Claris derailleur with 6 speed cassette. -Bottom bracket. -All cables replaced. -Rear wheel by Vedette: 700C 6061 Alloy-T6 (note: this rim was replaced by the previous owner so is not brand new) -Front wheel by X Rims 101 -New Tires: Schwalbe Marathon Performance Line Green-Guard puncture-resistant (great for road or gravel). -Rim brakes by Tektro work much better than original rim brakes. New brake pads too. -Full fender in rear. -Handlebar wraps. -Mirror. Notes: Single rear shifter lever. The Shimano XT chain only properly fits the smaller front chainring so would need an extra link or two to use the larger 52 chain ring. Rat trip pedals. Saddle is decent and comfortable unisex. $400 cash only
