General Manager Positions: 1 Permanent, full-time (30-40 hr/week) Wage: $50 per hour Language: English Company Profile: Located in Victoria, Supercoolers specializes in environmental water filtration products that reflect the demands of health-conscious consumers in the local community. We install and service different purifying systems, including single under-the-counter/sink installations and home-made systems. These systems are designed to reduce waste caused by plastic water bottles and one-time-use paper cups by offering unlimited access to filtered water, directly hooked up to pre-existing plumbing systems. Responsibilities: • Managing schedules for all staff • Developing and implementing strategic plans for the business including the direction of the company, the values, and the mission • Managing payroll and human resource duties • Recruiting, onboarding, and managing staff performance • Ensuring the business and staff are compliant with Health and Safety practices • Maintaining the website information and current marketing campaigns • Assisting customers in person or on the phone with orders and inquiries • Remotely dealing with any customer disputes or concerns • Scheduling delivers for filtered water distribution, as well as scheduling installations, replacements, and servicing • Tending to service calls for coolers and filtration systems • Creating, improving, and implementing inventory processes • Planning and executing marketing strategies such as promotions and sales • Preparing and managing proposals for prospective projects • Building relationships with complementary businesses in the area • Reviewing financial reports and adjusting business plans to improve results Requirements: • A university degree or college diploma in engineering or business • At least 5 years of management experience • At least 5 years of water filtration experience How to apply: Email resume to: recruitsupercooler@gmail.com As an equal opportunity employer, we encourage applications from all qualified individuals and specifically applicants from traditionally underrepresented groups – including Indigenous persons, vulnerable youth, newcomers, and persons with disabilities – who may contribute to the continued diversification of our organization.
