Currently, we are looking for a full time sushi chef/manager to join and operate the sushi bar in Broadmead Village Thrifty Foods. Qualifications & Responsibilities & Skills Minimum 3 years experience managing/supervising staffs Must have previous experience in restaurant management; preferably in sushi bar experience in prepared packaged foods a plus Must be able to multi tasks, provide customer service, monitor production, follow food safe regulations and guidelines. Must have background in controlling food portions and profit margins, control food quality and food waste and inventory, and able to make sushi at high speed as needed. Must be flexible and able to work weekdays and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) Must be a team player Must have good communication, oral, and written skills Education: Secondary School (required) Food Safe certificate Level-1 Salary: $36000/year plus bonuses Paid vacation and pay time off Other medical coverages/reimbursements will be discussed
