$1,200 · Private room for rent

I’m in a bit of a unique housing position and just putting it out there to see if anyone is looking for a 7ish month rental on the Saanich Peninsula. I own a 2 bed / 2 bath townhouse, but work remotely 21 days on / 10 off from mid March to the end of October. I currently live alone but have a cat- in the past I’ve had friends and family stay at the house or stop by to take care of him, but he really loves people and I’m looking for someone to be there full time while I’m away. In short, looking to rent out one bedroom for the 7 months, you would have the place to yourself except the 1 week a month I’m back from work, and ideally you’d like cats and want to hangout with mine. The property is in Sidney, close to a bus route, 1 block from the beach, parking for 1 and street parking after that. Pretty flexible on move in / move out dates, looking for around $1200 a month. Your room is currently furnished, high slanted ceilings, and you’d have your own bathroom with a tub.
