FREE: Black Cochin Cockerel

Free black bantam cochin cockerel. Hatched Jan 26, 2025 and is basically full grown now. He is the nicest (to SOP) cochin cockerel I hatched this year, but he has red leakage in his hackles. So unfortunately I'm moving him on. He would make a really good addition to a bantam cochin project as his type is so good. Bantam cochin cockerels do really well with standard hens as they are protective of them but are too small to really injure them when trying to breed. They struggle to get onto them, so the hens just walk away. I do also have 2 younger cockerels with the red hackles. Hatched late March. As they are young, no guarantees on quality. They would also be available. Located in Central Saanich.
