As you can see from the above photos, my neighbor has given me a number of small pots of Rose Compion. I have had them in my garden for years. These biannuals do self seed but are not "spreaders". The flower has a long bloom time, long lasting cut flower and because of the fuzzy silver leaves, the deer tend to leave them alone and will take full sun with well drained soil. I LOVE the small hot pink flowers. The last two photos show the plant in my garden. The funds will be donated to Our Place to help our homeless in Victoria.
