$5 · Pink Oxalis

I love this easy to live with plant....when the sun shines it's bright with it's centre is filled pink flowers. When the clouds move in, the flowers close up and if moments later the clouds leave, you will see a bright pink circle of flowers again. The leaves are a three leaf clover which are evergreen. Once a year you shear if down and bingo it comes to life again. It thrives as a rockery plant but it does fine in sunny parts of my garden. This perennial is not a spreader. I do have the other which is a huge challenge. This plant delights me. I was given this plant 40+ years ago by our first dog's brother's owner. He was a Dr. of horticultural. The funds will be donated to Rock Bay Landing to help our homeless find stable housing.
