1974 Fender Deluxe Stringmaster Lap Steel Guitar 8 string with Legs and Original Case Exceptionally Clean! The warranty card has a copyright date of 1974. This lap steel is in “as new” and excellent playing condition. Cosmetically it is a 9 out of 10, with only a couple of small scuffs on the body as shown in the pictures below. The legs extend so you can play seated or standing. When it comes to classic lap/console steel guitars, the Fender Deluxe Stringmaster is is the one of the best. It is a compact, single neck 8-string lap steel with 2 pickups, blender control pot and 22 1/2” scale length. It is currently tuned to C7/A7 w/high G. This Fender lap steel comes with it’s original case which is also in excellent condition. The original owner of this guitar didn’t play it much and I am the second owner.
