What we have: - $18.15 starting wage + .50 Gas Subsidy for each hour worked. - Hiring Bonuses at 1 week, 1 month and 6   months (totalling $550) - A clear and transparent payment progression framework (performance-based 2x a year) - Excellent health and dental plan   - Tuition reimbursement program for your children’s post-secondary education - Professional and personal development subsidies   totalling   $700 per year for all HTMs - Annual safety boot reimbursement   - Fun events on a regular basis – a monthly celebration lunch, annual summer BBQ, staff and children’s holiday parties, and more! - A supportive and collaborative culture – our people say the best thing about working here is the people they get to work with! - Scheduling options Responsibilities: - Filling jars by hand, capping jars by hand, hand sealing jars, some hand labeling of jars, packing jars back into boxes, building pallets and moving pallets in and out of rooms; - Filling line operation- loading jars and checking quality of jars; loading the automated filler; checking for damaged lids; checking to ensure jars are appropriately filled; checking label specs; packaging products; quality control; - Cleaning of carts, bins, tables, hand tools and rooms as required; - Adhere to Epicure’s values; - Un-packing of ingredients - Be able to lift 22kg (50lbs) of equipment and product - Performing quality control checks against established standards - Assembling specialty products - Handling raw materials and finished goods - Operating packaging equipment - Follow work instructions, SOPs, and recipes; - Verify and report on ingredient quality against established standards; - Palletize completed spice blends prior to storage - Maintain a clean work area; - Clean equipment and complete all associated logs & forms; - Understand and comply with quality systems and requirements; - Assist in production work cells or the warehouse as required; - Other duties as assigned by Epicure Team Member Profile: - Ability to stand, sit or stoop for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks - Ability to lift, push, pull and slide heavy weights up to 50 pounds - Ability to grip, grasp & pinch objects repetitively - Ability to follow directions accurately - Ability to communicate effectively - Attention to detail, with organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills - Enjoy working as a team and motivated by a job well done - Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate judgment, and discretion - You are happy to follow directions accurately - You are a Team player with a positive attitude Apply Here: https://epicure.bamboohr.com/careers/235
