Machine Builder

Hamson Machinery (www.hamsonengineering.com) builds automated packaging machinery from our shop in Sidney BC, and we are looking for help with several large projects. We would like to find somebody with experience in machining and mechanical assembly, but most importantly we need attention to detail, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a good work ethic. Job details (some training will be provided): • Reading blueprints, making parts using milling machine, lathe, cold saw, etc • Reading assembly drawings, fitting parts to machines • Reading schematics, installing wiring and pneumatics Experience with welding, CNC programming, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office could be useful (but not required).
