Position: Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor/Wellness

Position:&nbspPersonal Trainer/Fitness Instructor/Wellness Centre Attendant The Recreation Department is seeking a motivated individual to fill an auxiliary Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, and Wellness Centre Attendant position. Reporting to the Fitness Programmer, the ideal candidate will: Lead private, semi-private and small group personal training sessions/programs for patrons of Esquimalt Recreation Centre Instruct a variety of fitness classes including circuit, strength and condition, aerobic, step, HIIT, Bootcamp&hellip. Supervise the Wellness Centre (weight room) which includes maintaining a healthy and safe environment for the patrons, cleaning and maintaining equipment, leading orientations and fitness assessments, following public health orders when applicable, and other related duties Share passion and enthusiasm for fitness and health Be able to promote programs and services of the Esquimalt Recreation Centre as part of the fitness team Provide excellent customer service. Other preferred qualifications include: BCRPA Personal Trainer Certification or Equivalent (CSEP, NASM, ACE etc..)
