A sweet antique heart padlock dating from the late Victorian period, c.1880. It's crafted in 18k rolled gold. It was during this period that heart shaped padlock jewelry was popularized as a symbol of love, fidelity and devotion. It would likely have been created as a bracelet clasp, but looks great worn as a pendant or as part of a charm collection. Some signs of age, otherwise in very good antique condition. It is hallmarked on the reverse "RolledGold18ctRG". The padlock is in excellent working order and features a bail, allowing you to add it to your favorite chain. 0.8 Inches in length; 0.5 Inches in width.
