The Historic James Bay Inn Hotel is urgently seeking 2 experienced breakfast cook/brunch and 2 lunch/evening cooks. Kindly forward your resume to roy@jbipub.com - No phone calls or drop ins please. Compensation includes: Staff meal while working Discounts on food while visiting Medical, dental and eye vision benefits 5 paid sick days per year 4% vacation pay Starting at $20.00 per hour based on experience Percentage of tips Our breakfast and brunch menus include traditional breakfasts such as bacon & eggs, waffles, pancakes, benedicts, omelets and skillets. Lunch and dinner menu consists of classic comfort food, pub grub & nightly feature and pasta specials. Preference given to those applicants with 4 or more years experience, however we will consider ambitious applicants with less who are quick learners. Duties and Responsibilities All FOH are expected to be able to: To work in a fast paced environment Prepare food items by cutting, chopping and mixing Follow recipes Operate equipment properly and safely Follow Recipes and the James Bay Inn Standards Handle, store and rotate products properly Receive and put away orders Reliable and trustworthy to open the kitchen in the mornings.
