Title: Landscape Gardener Wage: $22.00 per hour Available Positions: 4 Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-Time/40 hours per week Work location: Varies; on-site Language at Work: English Company Profile: Green Image is a team of passionate individuals working in the landscaping and groundskeeping sector within the Great Victoria Area. For the past 5 years we have been providing quality services to strata and commercial property owners, including lawn maintenance, fertilizing, weed control, shrub and tree pruning, hedging, mulching, and planting gardens. We are now seeking to expand our team to support us in taking on additional workload in the GVA. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and execute small scale landscaping operations and maintain grounds and landscape of private and business residences • Participate with landscape labourer in preparing and grading terrain, applying fertilizers, seeding and sodding lawns, and transplanting shrubs and plants, using manual and power-operated equipment. • Plan, plant and cultivate lawns, using gardening implements and power-operated equipment. • Repair established lawns, using seed mixtures and fertilizers recommended for soil type and lawn location. • Locate and plant shrubs, trees, and flowers selected by property owner or those recommended for landscape effect. • Mow and trim lawns, using hand mower or power mower. • Trim shrubs and cultivate gardens. Clean grounds using rakes, brooms, and hoses. • Other duties as requested by the management.
