Hairdresser for Seniors Retirement Residence

Legion Manor Victoria is an Assisted Living residence looking for a new Hairdresser for our lovely residents. Hair Salon needs to be open two days a week and you get to pick those two permanent days. Qualification/Job Duties: • Has attention to detail and provides a comfortable atmosphere for all residents. • Engages with the residents while providing services. • Respectful communication with peers, residents & families. • Demonstrating knowledge of safety for residents. • Performs other related duties. • Responsible for your own laundry/linen. • With office support, self-scheduling all the appointments • Excellent customer service skills • Set your own schedule with the resident appointments • Keep your salon clean and Sanitary • Experience in Haircuts, colors & perms. • Ability to stand for long periods of time. License/Certification: • Criminal record check, working with Vulnerable adults • Business License • Mandatory insurance coverage for Business • WCB registration All offers of employment are subject to a Criminal Background Check.
