We are now searching for temporary Labourers for a one month project at Hillside Mall. This job is physically demanding. You would be assisting in moving product and shelving units, discarding of construction material and assisting with other general labourer tasks. Rate: $25/hour + vacation pay Location: BC - Victoria Project Dates: April 11th-May 13th, 2022 Availability: First Shift: 7am-3:30pm Second Shift: 10am-6:30pm Hours/week: Hourly - Up to 40 hours/week hours a week ADVANTAGES - competitive pay: $25/hr - weekly pay - 4% vacation pay on every paycheck - transit accessible RESPONSIBILITIES - Moving product and fixtures in a big box retailer - Unloading trailers with pallets loaded with heavy fixtures - Using hand jacks to pull heavy pallets of fixtures to the sales floor - Loading and unloading fixtures in a service elevator is required - Disposing of construction material - Cleaning store sections - Other general labour tasks as required - Physical requirements: Lifting up to 50lbs, on feet for entire shift. QUALIFICATIONS - Retail experience considered an asset - Positive attitude, reliable, good communicator and fluent in English - PPE required: CSA Approved Safety footwear, Work Gloves, Hard Hat, Safety Vest, Face Mask - Physically able to lift up to 50lbs, remain on feet for entire shift and work in a physically demanding position. - Valid equipment tickets (Forklift, Power Jack, Scissor Lift, WAH etc) is a definite asset
