The IntelliARMOR UV Shield+ Sanitizer is a portable, white box that uses UV-C light to effectively sanitize anything that fits inside. I am not a scientist so I am taking the companies word regarding the effectiveness of this device. With that being said UV light has been used for years to sanitize numerous things. Especially in the hospital and HVAC fields. I assume that it should work great. The box claims that it kills “UP TO” 99.9% of bacteria. There has been some research showing that UV light can work on viruses as well. With the Covid-19 pandemic that we are going through causing so many issues it can’t hurt to give your things some extra cleaning. It is my opinion that if you think that your stuff has been directly exposed to the virus I would use an alcohol based product to clean it. But UV light has been shown to dramatically cut the half-life of the virus so it should help. IntelliARMOR makes a couple of different models of this with the only difference seeming to be the size. This particular model is for devices up to 7″.
