Mackie and Mitska were born in the West Coast wilderness. They were two cute little feral hungry and afraid kittens leaning on each other for reassurance. Like in the majority of the feral kitten cases, they became very bonded. Their foster parents, a young couple, have converted a balcony into an outside enclosure for the kittens to have some air and watch the hummingbirds. They love it. Some people wrongly believe that feral cats are ok to be outside when this fact cannot be further from the truth. Abandoned animals go through an emotional shock when they find themselves alone, hungry and without those they loved. The same trauma happens with feral cats. Their mothers teach them to be afraid of predators and this teaching never goes away. Our kitties, the rehabilitated feral ones, always need extra emotional support. We always search for parents who have that extra doses of compassion, patience and empathy in their hearts. So, how are Mackie and MItska? Their personalities are very similar, describe the foster parents. Both of them are very playful, social and adventurous. It is lovely to have them in the house always so full of joy and fun. The only difference we can see is that Mackie is a spunky girl while Mitska is food motivated like a hippopotamus, tell us their dad. These pretty girls were born on April 18th, 2023. They have been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and had flea treatment. The adoption fee is $600 each, this includes all the medical proceedings mentioned above plus a small portion to cover for their mother's surgery. We are searching for a family who adopt them together.
