Lisa Samphire has been blowing glass since 1985. She has attended the world renowned Pilchuck Glass School on different occasions and received a BFA with honours from the University of Victoria in 1990. Lisa has also received her Diploma in Art Therapy from the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. Samphire co-owned, with Morna Tudor and Gary Bolt, Starfish Glassworks in downtown Victoria until 2005. She has been in many group shows and has had three solo exhibitions at the Canadian Crafts Museum, the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery in Ontario and several venues in the United States.
