We are renting out our lovely studio/small 1BR suite 2 blocks from Cook St Village, a 10 minute walk to Beacon Hill Park and Government House, a 15 minute walk to Dallas Road and a 20 minute walk to downtown. The suite has lots of character, similar to a (large) tiny house. It is ground level with the outside door on the west side of our 1927 character house, and includes: Bamboo flooring Full electric stove Apartment sized dishwasher Full fridge A bathroom with a shower High sloping ceiling above the living room with a skylight A loft adjacent to the living room A small bedroom that is down a few steps to the basement level. Shared washer and dryer The main part of the suite has high ceilings, however, the bedroom area has a low 6ft ceiling so is best for people under 6 ft. Suite dimensions Main: 31’ x 8’ Loft: 4.5’ x 8’ Bedroom: 9’ x 7.5’ No smoking and no pets (sorry, we already have 2 cats and 8 chickens on the property) We are a family with 2 teenage kids who are with us half time. We grow much of our own food and love the outdoors. We are looking for a quiet, long term tenant. The suite is suitable for one person only. We are planning a few updates. $1400 plus $100 utilities.
