Meet up mornings near Fort and Cook. Firm price. Excellent condition, it holds 40 ounces (5 measuring cups) but “teacups” are 6 ounces making it a “6 cup teapot”. No cracks or chips. It does have a few manufacturing flaws as the items made then had more “hands on” in the manufacturing. The great thing about English teapots is they DON’T drip and they lay flat upside down to drain dry. The horizontal lines in the blue paint is not crazing or cracks, it’s how it was glazed, maybe by hand, I’ve no idea! According to the photo it’s from the1930’s. The cosy is brand new, purchased at a craft fair, 2 pieces, the outside piece is linen (I think) with an embroidered design on one side, and the liner is batting that can be washed if necessary too. The infuser is firm stainless steel mesh, I don’t think it got used. Because these teapots were made long before we had infusers to set inside the lid will not fit with the infuser in so I’ve included a cork coaster to set on the infuser while steeping. Once the infuser is removed the lid can go back on. Included is a new unopened pack of earl grey tea from “Queen Bee Farms” on the Malahat.
