See last photo for rack. Clean and recently serviced. All connections, faders, knobs, etc... working as they should. Good sounding mixer for not a lot of money. Rugged steel chassis and faders and knobs are firm and well built. Frequency response: 10Hz-20kHz (+/-1dB) Total Harmonic Distortion Main mix out: less than 0.03% Bus out: less than 0.015% Max. gain (Mic to main mix out): 90dB Channel to channel crosstalk (1kHz): -85dB Dimensions: 482W x 435D x 148H mm Weight: 8.7kg Power consumption: 46W "MPL" stands for "Microphone/Program/Line" and the name describes the broad range of signals which can be handled by this powerful console. In fact, the compact design of the MPL 2242 belies an extraordinary versatility. Add excellent sound quality to the equation, and you've got a product which is equally useful as a live performance mixer, a keyboard submixer, or even a main recording mixer (you'll find descriptions of each of these applications at the conclusion of this manual). Here are some of the MPL 2242's main features: 22 input channels, including 6 stereo channels. The 10 monophonic channels provide balanced inputs that can be used for microphone or line-level input, and the 6 stereo channels are ideal for line-level sources such as outboard signal processors; CD players; tape or cassette recorders; stereo drum machines; keyboards; and MIDI tone modules. 4 buss outputs and a balanced main stereo mix output (a "buss" is simply a pathway through which a signal can be routed). Busses 1 and 3 are normalled to the left mix output and busses 2 and 4 are normalled to the right mix output. This flexible design allows you to easily mute selected channels and/or to create submixes within your main mix. 6 auxiliary sends and 4 stereo auxiliary returns (which can be used as 8 monophonic returns). Aux 1 is pre-fader and pre-equalizer, making it ideal for use as a headphone or monitor cue mix; all other auxiliary sends are post-fader and post-equalizer. Each channel can route signal to up to four auxiliary sends simultaneously.
